When can training be scheduled?
LTC operates in a 24/7 mode. We make every possible effort
to meet the scheduling needs of the customer.
Where will the training take place?
Training can be conducted at the client’s location, at a location in the
community or at LTC. The final (training location) decision is
deferred to the customer.
Can we customize the training?
LTC
offers both standard curriculum and customized programs. Again,
the customer “drives” the process/design. LTC’s focus is on quality
and customer satisfaction. If client objectives require content
customization, LTC will partner with the customer to design and
deliver the job-specific training needed to meet the goals of
the customer.
How long are the classes?
Customized
training can be as little as one hour or as long as 40 hours and
beyond based on your needs. Seminars have course length listed
in the “seminars” topic section on the Seminars page.
Is there a minimum and/or maximum number of
participants?
Class size is determined by topic, room size, or policy
regulating teacher student ratio, i.e. CPR, Confined Space. Contact us for more
information.
Is credit earned for taking the class?
Some
seminars offer Continuing Education Units (CEU) credits. Courses
offered at a customer’s location that parallel an associate degree
course can be set up for college credit.

no obligation training quote.
How many hours have been approved for the
continuing education class?
Generally, continuing education classes range from four to a maximum
of 24 hours. Continuing education is offered in a number of specific
occupational areas. Each class may vary depending on the topic
and instructor. Some classes are approved for continuing education
credit hours to maintain professional status, licensure, and certification
via outside licensing agencies. The approved continuing education
unit hours may differ from the instructional hours the College
has approved for the class. Each institution must meet specific
requirements in establishing continuing education credit hours
or units. Contact the Seminar Planner at the College to clarify
the number of continuing education credit hours/units for your
class.
Will this class be offered again and when?
For seminars, the same class may be scheduled only once each year
or once each semester. However, subsequent offerings are also
dependent upon class maximums and the excess number of interested
individuals wanting to take the class. Another section may be
offered if the enrollments significantly exceed the maximum per
class.
I need to get some training in this area. What should I take?
An assessment is completed during the telephone conversation to
determine what class would be most appropriate. This could include
a seminar, an adult and continuing class, or a credit class. The
caller is then transferred to a person that can provide more information
or who can register the individual.
