About the Career
Accident–sudden, severe illness–medical emergencies can happen at any time, in
any place. Survival often depends on the initial care the injured or severely
ill person receives at the scene. If you’re a licensed EMT looking to advance
your current skills to the paramedic level, your next step is the Paramedic Technician
program.
Career Outlook
Employment opportunities are expected to grow as population and urbanization

more likely to have medical emergencies.
