The Lakeshore Technical College (LTC) Foundation distributes more than 70 scholarship awards worth approximately $80,000 to students each year. The Foundation offers need-based, merit-based, program specific and general student support scholarships for Fall and Spring semesters annually.
Scholarship applicants are considered for all of the available awards for each semester with one application and recommendation form. Based on criteria set by scholarship donors, the LTC Foundation Scholarship Committee determines which students are eligible for each award and then chooses award winners based on qualifications, answers to questions on the application and the recommendation form.
Awards winners are determined within two weeks of the application deadline and letters are sent to all applicants within one month of the application deadline.
Scholarships are awarded in two cycles annually. If planning to attend in the Spring Semester, scholarship applications are accepted August 15 through October 15. If planning to attend in the Fall Semester, applications are accepted January 15 through March 21.
Specific criteria for each scholarship is applied to determine the eligibility of each application.

Whether you are a new or continuing student at LTC, scholarships can help fund the cost of tuition, books, and other educational expenses. To apply, you must complete the online form by March 21, 2014 for awards for the fall 2014 semester and email it to email@example.com. For applicants to be qualified, a letter of recommendation is also required for submission to the LTC Advancement Office (L234) by the deadline.
