Lean Manufacturing Certificate program begins Sept. 11 at LTC

CLEVELAND, WI – 

Lean Manufacturing Certificate program begins Sept. 11 at LTC

Lakeshore Technical College is offering a Lean Manufacturing Continuing Education Certificate this fall for organizations looking to improve their productivity and profitability.

The program consists of two training modules covering six courses and a final project. Participants must enroll in both Part 1 and Part 2 to earn the certificate. The total cost of the program is $2,300.

Part 1 includes lessons in the Principles of Lean Manufacturing, Lean Enterprise Culture and Value Stream Mapping. It runs from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 11, 25 and Oct. 9. The class number is 64890.

Part 2 includes lessons in Kaizen Principles and Practices, 5S/Visual Workplace and Total Productive Maintenance. It runs from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 23 and Nov. 6 and 20. The class number is 64891.

As the final component of the program, the Lean Manufacturing Project focuses on applying the methods and techniques learned in Parts 1 and 2. The Project Report-Out runs from 8 a.m. to noon Dec. 11.
