Youth Apprenticeship Information Night set for Jan. 24

CLEVELAND, WI –
The Lakeshore Area Youth Apprenticeship Consortium will hold an Information Night on Jan. 24, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Sheboygan Falls High School for Sheboygan County high school students interested in the 2011-12 Youth Apprenticeship program.
Youth apprenticeships offer students the opportunity to explore future careers while they are still in high school and get paid for their time working at area employers. Youth Apprenticeship offers one- and two-year programs in fields like Health, Hotel and Hospitality, Finance, Mechanical Design, Welding, Manufacturing and Auto Technician. At the Information Night students and parents will hear from former youth apprentice students, talk with employers and receive applications for the program. No registration is necessary.
