LTC offers seminars for insurance professionals

CLEVELAND, WI – 

Lakeshore Technical College will offer a pair of continuing education seminars for insurance professionals in September.

Both seminars will be held Sept. 19 in the Lakeshore Building’s Cleveland Training Room on the LTC campus in Cleveland. Each class, certified by the Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance and Assessment Systems, provides four continuing education credit hours.

A new offering, “Ethics 3,” defines good ethics and discusses how to reach ethics goals. Communication as it pertains to policy delivery is explored. The class concludes with a Wisconsin general insurance law test. The seminar will take place from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 19. Cost is $46; refer to class No. 64849.

A second seminar, “E&O, D&O, EPLI, and Customer Service,” will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 19. The class explores customer needs in various types of insurance agencies as well as the benefits of improving customer satisfaction. Errors and Omissions, Employment Practices Liability and Directors and Officers coverage are defined. Claims examples are discussed. The class concludes with an overview of customer satisfaction and small group breakouts to create a customer survey that could be used in participants’ agencies.
