LTC offering non-traditional classes for women

CLEVELAND, WI – 

Lakeshore Technical College is offering free classes for women in non-traditional fields.

The hands-on classes give women the opportunity to explore non-traditional occupations that offer great pay and job satisfaction.

Intro to Criminal Justice will be held M/W, 5:30-9:30 p.m., February 16, 18, 23 and 25.

Intro to Basic Electrical Skills will be held T/Th, 5:30-8:30 p.m., March 3, 5, 10, 12, 17 and 19.

Mechanical Design will be held Mon-Thurs, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., March 9-12.

Welding for Women will be held M/T, 4-8 p.m., March 16, 17, 23 and 24.

Intro to EMS/Fire will be held T/Th, 5:30-9:30 p.m., March 24, 26, 31 and April 2.

Intro to Machine Tool Skills will be held T/Th, 12:30-4:30 p.m., March 31, April 2, 7 and 9.

Intro to Auto Maintenance Skills will be held Th/F on April 16 and 17 from 5-8 p.m. and Sat, April 18 and 25 from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Intro to Industrial Maintenance Skills will be held Sat, 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m., April 18, 25 and May 2.

Participants will earn one technical credit for each class completed. Pre-registration is required, and there is no fee. All classes will be held at LTC’s Cleveland campus.
