LTC offering human resources seminars this spring

CLEVELAND, WI –
Lakeshore Technical College is offering a series of human resources seminars beginning this month. The series covers human resource topics including recruitment, teambuilding, immigration law, and meeting skills and facilitation.
Recruitment and Selection (#20706) will be held March 17 from 12:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. This seminar will discuss how employers can select the best recruits by adhering to simple recruitment guidelines. The class fee is $39.
The Team That Really Clicks (#25851) will be held April 21 from 8:00 a.m. until noon. This engaging in-service will explore the development of a team including stages of team development, listening skills, a personal communication assessment, and team "do's and don'ts." The class fee is $39.
Immigration Law for Employers (#24071) will take place April 28 from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. This seminar will discuss the documentation issues faced by employers in the hiring process, including how to fill out and maintain the Form I-9, as well as an overview of the E-Verify Employment Verification system. The class fee is $39.
Meeting Skills (#27336) will be held on May 5 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. This workshop will share techniques that lead to productive meetings. The class fee is $39.
Facilitator Training (#40359) will take place on June 16 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. This seminar allows you to learn and practice facilitative skills and behaviors that may be applied to any formal or informal meeting. The class fee is $189.
LTC is also holding the final seminar in its talent management series, Successful Implementation and Ongoing Monitoring of Talent Management Programs (#24082), on April 2 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. The class fee is $35.
