Culinary arts is an ever expanding and evolving industry, full of excitement, action and interesting people.
If you are creative, enjoy the constantly evolving food service industry, work well with people and have a love of food, the Lakeshore Culinary Institute may be the best place to launch your career.
Culinary arts professionals are involved in all aspects of food preparation and production and possess skills ranging from advanced food preparation techniques to food service management skills. As a graduate of the Lakeshore Culinary Institute you could work as a chef, independent restaurateur, baker or pastry chef, sales staff for the food industry, food service manager or corporate chef.
About the Program
Our unique Culinary Arts program utilizes a working restaurant as its laboratory, giving you real-world, hands-on training in the restaurant setting. The program runs on a trimester schedule with terms beginning in May, August and January. You'll enjoy class sizes of 12 and in as little as 16 months learn everything from sauce making to restaurant management.

Admissions Steps

- Complete Functional Abilities Statement of Understanding Form
- Complete Microsoft Skills Check (Word Only)
