American Bar Association Requirement for Paralegals
The Lakeshore Technical College Paralegal Program, in order to maintain consistency with American Bar Association requirements, requires that students take a minimum of four (4) legal specialty courses in a live, synchronous “real time” format. You will not be granted a degree unless you comply with this requirement. It is critical, that you plan your course work accordingly. As you plan your schedule, be sure to consult the table above to ensure that when you apply for graduation, you have met the requirement that you have taken at least four of the above mentioned courses in a live, synchronous “real time” format.
