LTC SUMMER COLLEGE for 2018 High School Graduates

LTC is now offering three of the most common college-required courses in Sheboygan and Manitowoc. These courses were schedule specifically to accommodate high school graduates. Choose from morning and evening Summer College options and attend classes just once a week. The three courses are offered in a blended format which means you attend class in-person for three hours each week and then complete additional online work outside of class.


Tuition is estimated based on 2017-18 rates and is subject to change

Intro to Psychology

..introduces students to a survey of the multiple aspects of human behavior. It involves a survey of the theoretical foundations of human functioning in such areas as learning, motivation, emotions, personality, deviance and pathology, physiological factors, and social influences. It directs the student to an insightful understanding of the complexities of human relationships in personal, social, and vocational settings

Oral Interpersonal Communication

...provides students with the skills to develop speaking, verbal and nonverbal communication, and listening skills through individual speeches, group activities, and other projects.

Intro to American Government

...introduces American political processes and institutions. It focuses on rights and responsibilities of citizens and the process of participatory democracy. Learners examine the complexity of the separation of powers and checks and balances. It explores the role of the media, interest groups, political parties and public opinion in the political process. It also explores the role of state and national government in our federal system.

    • Your 2018-19 financial aid could cover tuition. Contact your college’s financial aid office.
  • Books

  • You will need to submit an official copy of your ACT scores in order to verify placement in courses.

    • Request that a copy of your high school transcript, with your ACT score reported on the transcript, be sent to LTC
    • Submit an official copy of your ACT scores to LTC
    • Request that ACT send an official copy of your scores to LTC
  • Credit Transfer

    Under the Universal Credit Transfer Agreement these credits are guaranteed to transfer to UW schools and other technical colleges. Be sure to check with your college to confirm credit transfer.
