LTC To Offer Free Lakeshore Entrepreneurs & Inventors Network Meetings

CLEVELAND, WI —

Lakeshore Technical College is offering a new series of three free presentations for anyone interested in seeking ideas and inspiration to start or grow their own business. All of the meetings are held from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at Lakeshore Technical College, Cleveland Campus, Cleveland Training Room.

The first meeting will be held on February 18, 2013 and the topic will be: “Building Business with Social Media” presented by Brad Fleming, Executive Creative Director and James Grunewald, CEO at Dynamic, a digital (+) agency. Brad and James will share how tools such as social media, online marketing and advertising can be employed to actualize the plan.

The second meeting will be held on March 18, 2013 with the topic being: “Promotion and Marketing on a Small Budget – Doing More with Less” presented by Tammie Hogan, President and Owner of One Source Business Solutions. Tammie will share her story of how she started her own business with a small investment, but with the correct training and education and will also discuss creative ways to promote products and services on a small budget.

The final meeting will be held on April 15, 2013 and the topic will be: “Health Care Options & Benefits” presented by Julie M. Meyer, CPCU, CEBS, Account Executive at Maritime Insurance Group. Julie will discuss the latest developments in health care reform and incentives/benefits a smaller, growing company can offer to employees.

Inventors, entrepreneurs, students, start-ups, business owners, and all interested area residents are encouraged to attend this new spring 2013 series “Go for Growth: Practical Strategies and Tips You Can Use”.
