LTC to Offer Informational Sessions on Court Reporting at Lakeland College

CLEVELAND, WI —
Lakeshore Technical College, in cooperation with Lakeland College, is hosting informational sessions for individuals interested in learning more about earning an associate degree in the Court Reporting program. The sessions will be held at Lakeland College Thursday evenings on February 28, March 21, and April 25 from 6-7 p.m. on the West Allis campus in room L105.
The program is certified by the National Court Reporters Association and graduates are trained to provide instantaneous text transcriptions for legal proceedings. Court reporting is a high demand career with an average salary of $50,000 per year with 100% placement after graduation from the LTC program.
“This is a great career choice if you are an excellent listener, have strong language and communication skills, and are detail-oriented,” says LTC Instructor Cheryl Darrow.
