FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CLEVELAND, WI –

Lakeshore Technical College will be holding a College Preview Night on Thursday, October 10 from 4-7 p.m. on the Cleveland Campus.  College Preview night is designed as a college program expo and all people interested in learning more about career education options are welcome to attend this free event.

This year’s event offers many new features including a student panel where prospective students will have the opportunity to hear from current LTC students and alumni about their college experience and what they’ve learned in the process.  The panel will also offer insight to prospective students on how they can get started on accomplishing their college goals at LTC.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about more than 60 degree programs in one room and there will be breakout sessions that will include information on financial aid, student success and college credits for prior learning and work experience. There will also be an employer panel and representatives from area companies will discuss their employment outlook and the skills and education needed to be ready for hire.

“College Preview Night is a great chance for high school students and their parents, as well as adult students, to visit with LTC staff and local employers and learn about the various educational opportunities and career paths available to them,” said Doug Gossen, Vice President of Student Services. “LTC is proud to offer an event that will aid students in choosing their career path.”

The event will also provide individuals the opportunity to meet with experienced faculty and staff to talk about specific degree programs.  Participants will also get an up-close look at LTC's high-tech, hands-on learning environment and will have the opportunity to meet the Diversity & Multicultural Services Staff to learn how they can help you reach your education and career goals.

The event is free and no pre-registration is required.  For more information, please visit http://www.gotoltc.edu/PreviewNight.
