FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CLEVELAND, WI —
Lakeshore Technical College is offering its free service for financial aid help to the  Manitowoc and Sheboygan communities. Starting Feb. 4th, LTC will have staff at LTC-Manitowoc and LTC-Sheboygan to assist students or their parents in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and answer related questions.  The more accessible and convenient service is designed for anyone considering enrolling at LTC and will run through April 11th. There is no charge for the service and individuals can still visit the Financial Aid office at the Cleveland campus for their financial aid needs.
LTC-Manitowoc, located at 3733 Dewey Street, will have staff available on Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. and Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. LTC Sheboygan, located at 3620 Wilgus Avenue, will have staff available on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. No appointment is necessary.
“This service will ensure community members can complete the FAFSA, on-site, with confidence,” says LTC Financial Aid Manager Jessica Hemenway. “Customers will learn their Expected Financial Contribution (EFC), what documents are necessary for future FAFSA filings and receive one-on-one attention.”
At the LTC Cleveland Campus, individuals can stop in the Financial Aid office Monday through Thursday 7:30am to 6pm and Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm to receive assistance in completing a FAFSA.Â
While no appointments are needed for any of the three locations, students are encouraged to call ahead of time to ensure they bring the necessary documents. Typically, documents required for FAFSA completion include Social Security numbers; date of  birth, date of death of parent or guardian, date of marriage, and date of divorce;  2013 W2's and tax forms; most recent bank statements; amounts of any other income; and value of any other assets.
