FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CLEVELAND, WI –
Lakeshore Technical College has been named among the nation’s top 100 online colleges for the 2014 academic year by BestColleges.com.
LTC was 35th on the two-year college list and one of three from Wisconsin. Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College was 39th and Moraine Park Technical College was 46th.
According to the publication, criteria for the ranking included only four-year and two-year colleges that offer at least one fully online degree. Statistics from the National Center for Education were also used to evaluate the online college programs. The list was then judged against four criteria:
Lakeshore Technical College offers three professional degree programs that are 100% online, business management, marketing, and medical billing and coding. In addition to these three offerings, the college hosts 59 degree programs and 51 certificate training modules that may be ‘blended’ to include online and classroom-based coursework, or exclusively brick-and-mortar. The college also offers 11 trade-based apprenticeships.
