CLEVELAND, WI —
Lakeshore Technical College welcomes three new employees to its staff.
Rachelle Phakitthong of Cleveland joins LTC as the Dean of General and Pre-College Education. Prior to LTC, Phakitthong was an Educational Consultant for Education Interventions. In her new role, Phakitthong will provide leadership, supervision, guidance and direction for all instructional programming, curriculum, services, policies, procedures, and faculty and staff in the General Education division and Pre-College programs.
Phakitthong holds a bachelorâ€™s degree in secondary education from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a masterâ€™s degree in education from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities.
Heidi Soodsma of Two Rivers joins LTC as the Executive Assistant to the President. Prior to LTC, Soodsma was the Finance and Program Manager at the Chamber of Manitowoc. In her new role, Soodsma will perform a wide scope of executive support functions. In addition to providing executive support to the President, Soodsma will also serve as a key member of the Presidentâ€™s staff, as Recording Secretary for the Board of Trustees, and as the Board Appointment Process Coordinator.
Soodsma holds bachelorâ€™s degree in education from Dordt College, Sioux Center, Iowa.
Pat Staszak of Green Bay joins LTC as the Dean of Energy and Agriculture. Prior to LTC, Staszak was the Director of Business Development for Energis High Voltage Resources, Inc. in Green Bay. In his new role, Staszak will provide leadership for instructional programming and oversight for the operations of the energy, agriculture, and sustainability areas. Staszak will also be responsible for the development of new programs, evaluating existing programs and expanding activities as it relates to the growth of these areas and will provide active public relations to the industry sectors of energy, agriculture, and sustainability including researching and responding to public needs and demands.
Staszak holds an associates degree in marketing from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, a bachelorâ€™s degree in business management and communications from Concordia University and a masterâ€™s degree in organizational leadership and quality from Marian University.
