FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CLEVELAND, WI —
Lakeshore Technical College is offering Firearm Safety for Concealed Carry Weapons course which will take place on Saturday, January 17 from 8am - noon at Lakeshore Technical College in the Public Safety Building.
This class meets the state's education requirements for students to acquire a Wisconsin CCW License/Permit. This course will provide participants with an overview of handgun safety practices and concealed carry considerations. It is designed as a safety course, not a training course. For example, this course teaches how to identify a loaded handgun and how to safely unload it, but does not teach how to load or fire a handgun.
Participants will also learn the Wisconsin Department of Justice process for obtaining, maintaining, and renewing a concealed carry permit, analyze considerations regarding the carry of a concealed weapon and discuss the legal implications of carrying a concealed weapon.
The cost for this class is $85 and the class number is 20161. To register by phone with credit card, call 1.888.GO TO LTC (1.888.468.6582) Ext. 1366. For questions or detailed information, visit www.gotoltc.edu or call Ruth at 920.693.1167, or e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
