CLEVELAND, WI —
Lakeshore Technical College, in partnership with the Sheboygan County Chamber, is offering a three-part series about cyber, product, and building security. All of the seminars will be held from 7:00 - 9:30 a.m. and include time for networking and continental breakfast.
The first seminar will be held Wednesday, March 25 and the topic will be: "Cyber Security" presented by Special Agent Byron Franz, FBI and Captain Kurt Brasser, Sheboygan Police Department. Special Agent Franz will speak about the threat of computer and mobile device compromise facing Wisconsin's businesses, colleges and government agencies and will describe the role of the FBI in these situations. Captain Brasser will inform participants of local security breach situations and how to avoid them.
This seminar will be held at the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce and the class number is 27252
The second seminar will be held on Thursday, April 16 with the topic being: "Product Security" presented by Tim Weller, Department of Homeland Security Protective Security Advisor - Wisconsin. Weller will educate participants on how to make certain any products purchased or shipments received are safe and not damaging to your business.
This seminar will be held at the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce and the class number is 27257.
The third seminar will be held on Friday, May 29 and the topic will be: "Building Security" presented by a panel of local experts. The panel will include Jason Wilterdink, LTC Criminal Justice Instructor; Bill Scheidt, Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, Rockline Industries; Jeff Froh, Human Resources Manager, Rockline Industries; Frank Hacker, General Manager, Rockline Industries and a representative from HUB International Limited. The panel will discuss the actions needed to help reduce unwanted entry into your building and will help participants work towards developing a more secure building.
This seminar will be held at Lakeshore Technical College in the Wells Fargo Room on the Cleveland campus. The class number is 27256.
