FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CLEVELAND, WI –
Cleveland - Lakeshore Technical College is offering three training sessions in September and October related to changes in ISO 9001.
ISO 9001 is currently undergoing a major revision that is planned for release in September 2015. These revisions include continued adherence to the requirements of the current standard, but with a complete change in structure numbering and terminology, a new emphasis on risk management and the process approach, increased management involvement requiring a tie between company strategy and the goals of the quality management system, and greater requirements for outsourced processes.
ISO registered organizations that begin to address these changes now will have an opportunity to make an easy transition, ahead of the competition. Organizations that are not yet ISO registered will gain an understanding of what will be required so systems can be set up properly from the beginning.
The first two sessions will be held on Friday, September 11. The first session is from 8:00 am to noon and will cover an overview of the changes and its effects on your company, the timeline from the ISO Technical Committee, tips for implementation and risk management. The second session will be held from 12:30 - 4:30 pm and will cover the process approach and tools for organizing your processes and identifying, analyzing, evaluating, prioritizing, monitoring and measuring risk.
It is highly recommended that company leadership who are involved in the Management Review process attend the first class. Quality management system implementation teams and internal auditors should attend both classes. Each session is $199 and both are held at LTC's Cleveland Campus in the Cleveland Training Room.
The third session, Internal Auditing to ISO 9001:2015, will be held Fridays, September 18, September 25 and October 2 from 8am - noon. Companies who train their internal auditors to the new requirements of the 2015 standard will be able to utilize their internal auditors and their internal audit process to identify changes that need to be made in the quality management system. This enables the organization to more effectively implement those changes on an ongoing basis during the company's transition to ISO 9001:2015.
This session is recommended for Quality management system implementation teams and internal auditors. Participants who complete all three sessions will receive an Internal Auditor Certificate. This provides documentation of training for registrars and customers of your company.
This session is $375 and will be held at LTC's Cleveland Campus in the Cleveland Training Room.
