CLEVELAND, WI –
Lakeshore Technical College has been awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award by the Government Finance Officers Association.
The College earned the recognition for its current budget which was prepared by its Financial Services Division. Only 1,491 entities around the nation were awarded this distinction as several nationally recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation must be met.
"This award recognizes LTC's accountability and responsibility to the taxpayers in our district," said LTC President Mike Lanser.
The Distinguished Budget Presentation Award is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
The Government Finance Officers Association is a non-profit professional association serving more than 18,000 government finance professionals throughout North America.
