CLEVELAND, WI –
Lakeshore Technical College is offering a Human Resources Seminar Series beginning in April and participants can choose to register for all seminars in the series or register a la carte. All classes will be held on the Cleveland campus in the Manitowoc County Training Room.
The four part Human Resources seminars are geared for those working in the Human Resources sectors who are interested in gaining the knowledge needed to address today's employment issues.
The first seminar offered in the series is "Morale: Keeping Employees Motivated". This seminar will be held on Thursday, April 14 from 8:00am - noon and will give participants the tools necessary to boost morale and stop the negativity before it brings down productivity. It will also assess the reasons people come to work and will explore how to boost morale in your workplace. The class number is 25042.
The second seminar being offered is "Supervisory Training". This seminar will be held on Thursday, April 28 from 8:00am - noon and participants will learn supervision strategies that will help them be a successful supervisor. The class number is 25043.
The third seminar is "Hiring the Correct People". This seminar will be held on Wednesday, May 4 from 8:00am - noon and will help participants develop their recruiting and hiring skills to ensure they hire the right person for the job. The class number is 25044.
The final seminar in the series is "Respectful Workplace". This seminar will be held on Friday, May 20 from 8:00am - noon and will explore what we can do as leaders of our organizations to improve stressful work situations. The class number is 25045.
The instructor for this series of seminars will be Rick Balzan, a senior HR Consultant with Schenck S.C. Balzan has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Leadership and Human Resources and has worked as an HR professional in both service and manufacturing industries.
LTC is a HRCI (Human Resources Certification Institute) Approved Provider. The cost for each seminar is $125 and each seminar is HR Certification approved for four credit hours.
