CLEVELAND, WI –
Lakeshore Technical College, in partnership with Sheboygan and Manitowoc County Veterans Services Offices, will be hosting a Veterans Expo on Wednesday, August 3 from 1:00-7:00 pm at its Cleveland Campus. The event is designed to provide educational resources to veterans in the Lakeshore area.
The expo will include a Benefits Fair that will feature representatives from healthcare and mental health agencies, financial planning organizations, Department of Workforce Development, local Social Security offices, Sheboygan and Manitowoc Job Centers, non-profit groups and lots more for Veterans of all ages.
Veterans will have the opportunity to participate in info sessions that will include a Mental Health presentation from 1:30-2:30pm OR 5:15-6:15pm, Preparing for a Job and Job Interview presentation from 2:45-3:45pm and Tips to Know When Applying to College from 4:00-4:30pm.
Participants are also able to purchase food at a brat fry from 1:00-7:00pm sponsored by Johnsonville's Community Engagement Young Professionals Group. All proceeds from the brat fry go to the Sheboygan Area Veterans Treatment Court. There is no cost to attend the event.
