CLEVELAND, WI —
Lakeshore Technical College is offering a series of continuing education seminars for insurance agents beginning in January. Each seminar will provide four continuing education credit hours.
The first seminar, Errors and Omissions, Directors and Officers, Employment Practices Liability and Customer Service, will be held on Thursday, January 19, from 8:00am-noon. This seminar will cover the customer needs in various types of insurance agencies as well as the benefits to the agency in improving customer satisfaction. Errors and Omissions, Employment Practices Liability and Directors and Officers coverage will be defined and claims examples will be discussed.
This seminar will be held in the Manitowoc County Training Room on the Cleveland campus and the cost is $65. The class number is 26458.
The second seminar, Medicare and Medicare Supplements, will be held on Thursday, January 19, from 12:30-4:30pm. This seminar is designed to help the attendee understand what Medicare is and what it does. The class covers eligibility, Part A and Part B coverage as well as exclusions. Medicare part D will be introduced and Medicare Supplement coverage will be examined.
This seminar will be held in the Manitowoc County Training Room on the Cleveland campus and the cost is $65. The class number is 26459.
The third seminar, Ethics 3, will be held on Thursday, March 2 from 8:00am-noon. This seminar will help attendees define what good ethics are and will cover proper communication ideas as it pertains to policy delivery. The seminar will conclude with a Wisconsin general law test.
This seminar will be held in the Sheboygan County Training Room on the Cleveland campus and the cost is $65. The class number is 26460.
The final seminar in the series, Planning in the Senior Market, will be held on Thursday, March 2, from 12:30-4:30pm. This seminar is designed to provide training to insurance agents to maintain licensing. Participants will review Social Security, Medicare supplement contracts, retirement, disability and survivor benefits and their applicability to seniors. The seminar will also cover long term care alternatives and how they relate to the role life insurance and annuities play in the planning process.
