Lakeshore Technical College is offering "Federal Grants: The Brave New World of Federal Funds", a seminar about writing for Federal Grants on Friday, September 8 from 9:00am – noon on the Cleveland campus.
Federal funding has entered a whole new world of accountability, ranging from 2CFR200 (Uniform Grant Guidance), the implementation of the DATA Act, recent Executive Orders and related impacts on internal controls, procurement, the minimum purchase threshold and time and effort reporting. The presenter for this seminar is James Huycke, Associate Director of Grants, Moraine Park Technical College. Huycke has been the Associate Director of Grants at Moraine Park Technical College since July of 2013. Previously, he served as a Grants Specialist at Lakeshore Technical College.
