Nurses heal

LTC’s nursing program prepares you for a career as a registered nurse in a variety of healthcare settings. You will learn to provide holistic care that focuses on health and illness for infants to the elderly. Theory and lab courses in our state-of-the art Clinical Skills lab set the foundation for clinical practice. You will have extensive real life training providing care for patients throughout Sheboygan and Manitowoc counties to prepare you for the role of the RN after graduation.

Special Notes
  • Nursing Assistant skills must be attained within 6 months of starting clinicals
  • LTC has a two-step Admissions/Enrollment collage application process for all students. Step One is to complete the admissions requirement to get accepted into the college, and Step Two is to complete the enrollment requirements to be accepted into the Nursing-Associate Degree program.
  • It is mandatory that all of the Nursing-Associate Degree general education classes be completed prior to starting the core nursing classes. A grade of C or better is required in all classes, with the exception of the two Anatomy and Physiology classes, where a grade of B or better is required.
  • LTC will take up to 40 Nursing program students each semester (Fall & Spring) via a Priority Enrollment process.

Approximate Costs

  • $132.20 per credit (resident)
  • $205 per credit (out-of-state resident)
  • Other fees vary by program (books, supplies, materials, tools, uniforms, health-related exams, etc)
