Description: ......teaches the learner the steps, reasons, and importance for a good milking routine and cleanliness for herd health. Topics include milk quality; mastitis types and testing; milk collection and culturing; nutrition and feeding basics of mixing, dry matter, TMR, shaker box, feed storage, bunker scoring, and dry matter intake; locomotion and body condition scoring; cattle movement safety, flight zones, and movement pressure; quick release knots, monitoring stress levels; parlor protocols.
