Description: ......teaches the learner the basics of cow reproduction, reproductive system, identifying cows in heat, sync protocols, and the basics of A.I. The learner becomes proficient in caring for fresh and sick cows including a step-by-step approach for examinations of fresh-pen cows, selecting cows for examination based on behavior, calving history, and diagnostic tests. Calf care covers newborns, developing rumen, best practices, colostrum handling, processing newborns, and disease prevention.
