Course Description

Designed for entry-level construction workers, this general awareness training covers recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site. Topics include:

  • Introduction to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
  • OSHA's Focus Four Hazards
  • Health hazards in construction
  • Cranes, derricks, elevators, stairways, and ladders
  • Lead & asbestos exposure

All sessions are taught by Michael Ott.
