Wind Energy Safe Access & Rescue Training

Learn the hazards of working at height and the proper methods for dealing with emergencies, including suspension trauma and rescue using lanyards, fall-arrest harnesses, and positioning equipment.

This course meets safety training requirements of the wind energy industry, utilizing personal safety and rescue equipment. Students who successfully complete training will receive certification valid for two years.

All students will be expected to rescue and be rescued, have a comprehensive understanding of issued PFPE, have a basic knowledge of the cause, effect, and symptoms of suspension trauma, and know how to deal with it.

Students must be medically and physically fit and possess a desire to work at height.
