Sadie Beltran

Describe your relevant experience/qualifications for this position:I have been the treasurer, vice president, and president of my 4-H club, the Sheboygan Shooting Stars. I am also in a leadership position at my place of employment, Fleet Farm, in Plymouth. I work at the customer service desk, which makes me a part of the FEO team. As an FEO, I am responsible for the cashiers and give them assistance when needed.
Why do you want to serve the LTC Student Government Association in this position?I would like to be a part of the LTC Student Government Association so I can help the college and its students. I am interested in helping organize events for the students, representing our school at the statewide meetings, and doing what I can so the students of LTC have a great year. I have prior experience for this position—I am currently the president and the past vice president and treasurer of my 4-H club. If elected as president, I will serve the LTC SGA to the best of my abilities and work to better our school.

Describe your relevant experience/qualifications for this position:I have work experience, as I have been working full time since I turned 18. I’m very interested in helping my community.
Why do you want to serve the LTC Student Government Association in this position?I would like to be the LTC SGA President and am very passionate about this position. This is my first year here at LTC in the Early Childhood Education program. I don’t have much experience in this field, but I think my personal skills will help me become a great advocate for you. I’m an organized and compassionate person who stands up for what I believe in. You may not know me, but I would love to meet you. I hope through this position you would feel comfortable voicing your concerns to me so I can help make this the great school that it is, for us.

Candidates for Vice President

Cassandra Arndt

Hospitality Management

Cassandra Arndt

Describe your relevant experience/qualifications for this position:I've volunteered with the Literary Council of Sheboygan where I taught English as a second language to adult learners. While this may not seem relevant firsthand, it placed me in a leadership position in which I made decisions based on the student's development and growth. I currently work at Inn on Woodlake in Kohler as a Front Desk Agent. I'm cross-trained in bar tending and housekeeping within the hotel as well. This position has allowed me to gain experience in how to interact with different personalities in an efficient and gracious manner. I strongly believe this will aid in my development and service if I'm elected for the SGA.
Why do you want to serve the LTC Student Government Association in this position?I want to serve the LTC Student Government Association as Vice President because I aspire to be a successful leader one day in a Hospitality Management position. Serving on the SGA would provide me with immense growth and opportunities to learn from students and faculty who come from different backgrounds than myself. Incorporating perspectives from the entire student body would be a priority of mine as VP.

As shown above, I have provided my patience and leadership throughout my many years in High School. I am a very passionate person when it comes to the things I believe in. I want to make a difference in this school while becoming a better person and leader. My second day on campus I was talking with a staff member about resources the college has to offer.
