Over the next 30 minutes, we’ll give you info you need to know in order to have the best LTC experience possible. We'll walk you through services and resources available to help jumpstart your college experience. You can refer back to this orientation all semester long.

Student Code of conduct

  • LTC monitors student conduct, encourages positive behaviors, and requires academic integrity to support a positive teaching and learning environment.

Safety and Security

  • Campus Police are available during campus hours to handle security or emergency issues.
  • Reach Campus Police by calling 920.946.6310.

Discrimination and Harassment

  • Discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct is taken seriously and not tolerated.

Parking, Campus Maps, and Hours

  • Coming to campus? Visit Current Students to see all LTC locations and service hours.
  • Check out the Campus Map to see parking lots. Students can park in Lots 1, 3, 4, or 7.
  • No parking permits needed.

Student ID Card

  • Use your ID card to check out laptops in the library and get access to discounts, student events, & activities.
  • Get your LTC Student ID card at the Student Services Welcome Center in the Lakeshore Building.

Academic Calendar

  • Refer to the calendar for the start of classes, financial aid disbursements, payment due dates, registration start dates, and scheduled breaks.

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

  • Your records, with the exception of directory information, are private and protected by FERPA.

LTC Login

Your LTC Login is used for many applications on campus, like your LTC email, Blackboard, logging into campus computers, Library databases, and Navigate.

Username: Student ID#

Initial Password: First 2 letters of first name, first 2 letters of last name, last 4 digits of SSN #
(or last 4 digits of Student ID# if SSN not provided) Example: josm1234

At first login, you’ll be prompted to change your password (this changes your email password too)

New password criteria:

  • Contain at least 8 characters
  • Contain at least one uppercase letter
  • Contain at least one lowercase letter
  • Contain at least one number (0-9)
  • Must NOT contain your first name, last name, or username


  • Access course content; submit assignments, check grades, and more.
  • New to Blackboard?
    Complete the Blackboard Student Orientation to practice common tasks that you may be asked to complete in your courses.
  • Need help?
    Stop in the Student Resource Center for help with Blackboard navigation, submitting assignments, and Microsoft (Office 365) Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Email & related technologies.
