Applications are being accepted from students to receive up to $10,000 in scholarships thanks to a grant received from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
The scholarships are available to eligible full-time students enrolled in the Radiation Safety/Health Physics or Nuclear Technology programs. Students who are selected could receive one $2,500 scholarship per term, starting with the fall 2019 term, for up to four terms.
To apply, students must be:
- admitted and enrolled in the Radiation Safety/Health Physics or Nuclear Technology associate degree program at Lakeshore Technical College, Blackhawk Technical College, or Northeast Wisconsin Technical College
- enrolled in at least 12 credits of these program courses
- a U.S. Citizen
