The Lakeshore Technical College Child Care Center provides a comprehensive day care program for children of Lakeshore students and staff who are ages 2 - 11. The program focuses on the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of young children. The center also serves as an educational model for Child Care Services program students.
The center is open from 7:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., Monday-Friday concurrent with the Lakeshore school calendar and will remain open during breaks (only if there are enough requests for care). In addition to the rich and varied activities, your child will receive a morning and afternoon snack. Parents will need to be sure to pack a lunch for children who will remain in the center during lunchtime.

VACATION WEEKS
Staff/Community members will receive two vacation weeks (10 business days) per calendar year. If your child will not be in attendance, you will be charged 50% of your tuition.
THANKSGIVING/WINTER/SPRING BREAKS
Child Care Center staff will collect hour requests for school breaks. Students will not be charged for breaks unless they contract hours with the center. Staff/Community can use vacation days for these breaks. The center may close if there are not enough requests. If the center is closed, families will not be charged regardless of enrollment status (student vs. staff/community.) Closure determinations will happen 4 weeks in advance so families can have adequate time to secure alternative child care.
