By combining state-of-art facilities and equipment with hands-on instruction from experienced faculty, this world-class center prepares students for high-demand manufacturing careers. 

Welding and Fabrication Lab/Flex Lab

In the Welding and Fabrication Labs, Lakeshore students are training on the same state-of-the-art equipment used in today's manufacturing. Lakeshore is an American Welding Society (AWS) accredited test facility (ATF). 

Industrial Electrician Lab

The industrial electrician lab is complete with a PLC lab and hands on wiring lab where students learn to wire and size components properly.  Single and 3 phase power is used to give students experience on real world scenarios. 

Robotics Lab 

Top-of-the-line Fanuc robots teach students the robotic programming and operations and maintenance preferred in today’s industries. 

Mechanical Design Lab

Students put a state-of-the art 3D printer to work when they take a computer-screen design and make it a reality with a finished three-dimensional product. 

Precision Machining and CNC Labs 

Precision Machining and CNC labs give students experience on manual and simulation equipment, the latest Haas machines, and precision measuring equipment. The equipment throughout the labs gives students the skills to precisely program commands on a wide range of machines. 

PLC Lab

Rockwell Automation Programmable Logic Controllers training modules teach students how to program industrial controls and transfer their skills to other PLCs in various industries.
