    Lakeshore College’s participation in Gallagher’s 2024 U.S. Benefits Strategy & Benchmarking Survey resulted in the college getting recognized for a second consecutive year as a Best-in-Class Employer. Such organizations are determined by Gallagher to be excelling in implementing effective strategies for managing people, benefits, and programs.

    Lakeshore College has received formal notification by the Higher Learning Commission that the college’s  accreditation status has been continued.

    The automotive maintenance program at Lakeshore College has received Automotive Service Excellence reaccreditation by the ASE Education Foundation. The program has been ASE-accredited for more than 20 years.

    First-generation college students, those whose parents did not graduate from college, are invited to learn from other first-generation students at Lakeshore College’s “First Generation Event” set for Thursday, Nov. 7 at the college’s Cleveland campus.

    Lakeshore College Students Receive Record Amount In Scholarships

    Nearly $300,000 in scholarships was awarded by the Lakeshore College Foundation to 273 students for the fall semester. This includes a record number of 54 scholarships covering full tuition and fees. A total of 360 scholarships were awarded.

    College, Candy, & Costumes Returns to Lakeshore College

    Lakeshore area families are invited to College, Candy, & Costumes, a free Halloween celebration taking place Saturday, Oct. 19, 10 a.m. to noon, on Lakeshore College’s Cleveland campus.

    The third annual event offers trick-or-treating, pumpkin decorating, and refreshments including apple cider and popcorn.

    New Mobile Manufacturing Lab Unveiled at Lakeshore College

    Lakeshore College unveiled its new mobile manufacturing lab Oct. 1, making advanced manufacturing training more accessible throughout the community. The state-of-the-art self-contained training space is available to any organization interested in providing or demonstrating hands-on manufacturing-focused training. Lakeshore provides the instructors.

    Gov. Evers Appoints Lakeshore College Student to the Higher Educational Aids Board

    Gov. Tony Evers has appointed Lakeshore College student Sandra Higher to a three-year term on the Higher Educational Aids Board.  The Higher Educational Aids Board is the agency responsible for the management and oversight of the student financial aid system for Wisconsin residents attending institutions of higher education. Hyer will serve as one of 12 members appointed by Evers.
