CLEVELAND, WI —

To help pursue their goals of working in the advanced manufacturing industry, Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs (NBT) awarded scholarships to three Lakeshore Technical College students. Ryan Pieri, Antonio Rivera, and Marshall Walker are among 23 students selected from across the country. The LTC students each received a $1,500 scholarship for the spring 2022 term.

Pierei, a Sheboygan resident, is in LTC’s mold making and CNC machinist apprenticeship program.

Rivera, a Fond du Lac resident, is in LTC’s electro-mechanical automation technology program.

Walker, a Sheboygan resident, is in LTC’s welding fabrication technician program.

“We are proud of our students and appreciate how these scholarships will help them pay for their education,” said LTC President Dr. Paul Carlsen. “Advanced manufacturing employers all around us are experiencing skilled labor shortages and we are doing all we can to prepare students to become workforce-ready.”

NBT is the charitable foundation of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, International®. Its purpose is to support individuals in discovering their interest in manufacturing and encourage the pursuit of a manufacturing career. The foundation awarded a total of 23 scholarships for the spring 2022 semester.
