Lakeshore Technical College Fall Open House & Blood Drive

CLEVELAND, WI —
Lakeshore Technical College (LTC) is hosting a fall open house for the general public on Saturday, September 19, 9 am to 2 pm, at the LTC Cleveland campus, 1290 North Ave. Visitors will be able to learn about the college’s many options, including courses still open for fall and spring programs that start in January. Attendees will also learn about opportunities for professional or personal development. LTC staff will be available to answer questions about paying for college, choosing classes, admissions, and more.
At the same time and location, LTC is working to help support local demand for blood donors, so the community is invited to donate blood during the “LTC Cares Blood Drive.” The ongoing impact of COVID-19 has increased the need for blood donors.
Versiti, the blood center LTC is working with, is performing the SARS CoV-2 antibody test as part of its standard testing. Donors will be informed if they have antibodies reflective of a prior COVID-19 infection. They will also receive a $10 e-gift card as a token of appreciation.
COVID-19 safety protocols, including face covering and physical distancing requirements, will be in place during both events. Visitors are asked to bring their own masks.
