FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

7/30/2020

CLEVELAND, WI —

New students wanting to enroll this fall at Lakeshore Technical College will have a brand new scholarship available – the Commit to Lakeshore Scholarship. This scholarship available between July 22 and August 6, 2020 for any new LTC students to receive a range from $50 for simply completing the college’s application to $500 for registering for a full-time course load this fall. Scholarships will be provided in the form of a reduction in tuition.

All new students who apply and enroll for fall 2020 prior to August 24, 2020, the start of the semester, will automatically be entered into a drawing to win one of five $100 gift cards.

“By offering these new tuition scholarships and drawings, we are encouraging those who may still be holding back on their education decisions to take action,” said LTC Vice President of Student Success Polly Abts. “Students who apply now can be ready for the fall semester rather than set aside their plans for college.”

Lakeshore has announced it will offer in-person instruction this fall, as well as online and iFLEX® course formats, so students can safely learn in the manner they are most comfortable with. A relaxed tuition refund policy will also be in place for all students to “test drive” courses without financial penalty if they decide the course(s) is not for them.

Current university students interested in staying closer to home can take hundreds of courses at Lakeshore Technical College which will transfer to their four-year college. Lakeshore has transfer agreements in place with all University of Wisconsin System campuses and 18 additional four-year institutions.

Tuition scholarship and gift card drawing details are available at gotoltc.edu/commit.
