Training Opportunities Can Help Retain Employees

CLEVELAND, WI —
According to the 2023 U.S. Mercer Turnover Survey, the average turnover rate among U.S. businesses between 2022 and 2023 was 17.3%. Employers wanting less turnover may want to offer their employees more training opportunities, which job site Indeed states can have “incredible returns.” Lakeshore Technical College’s Workforce Solutions division has announced its spring schedule of training opportunities to support employers’ needs.
Seminars cover business, safety, and compliance topics. Customized training in the areas of manufacturing skills, quality concepts, human resources, leadership development, and others are also offered by Workforce Solutions.
“Whether an organization needs its employees to keep current with regulatory requirements, upskill to meet increasing technological needs, develop leadership or other abilities, we can support those needs locally,” said Lakeshore Associate Dean of Economic Development Lucas Dulmes.
