FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

3/26/2018

CLEVELAND, WI —

Lakeshore Technical College is offering a Statistical Process Control (SPC) seminar and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt seminar in May.

SPC is a small part of Lean Six Sigma, and Lean Six Sigma goes more in-depth on eliminating waste and reducing variation from a process.

During the SPC training students will learn what SPC is, how to design X-bar charts, and determine the process capabilities of your operation, among other statistical tools. Participants who complete this session will receive a SPC certificate. This provides documentation of training for employers and customers of a company. Statistical Process Control will be held May 4 from 8:00am - 2:30pm. The course number is 27579 and the fee is $245.

The Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt seminar is designed to teach businesses the skills to apply simultaneously Lean and Six Sigma in order to obtain the “best of both worlds.” LTC’s application-oriented teaching enables participants to start quickly using their skills to create benefits for their businesses. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt will be held on May 11 and 18 from 8:00am - 4:30pm. The course number is 27311 and the fee is $560.
