LTC to Offer Microsoft Essentials Seminars

CLEVELAND, WI —

Lakeshore Technical College is offering five Microsoft Essentials seminars in April and May. The seminars cover Excel, Word, and Outlook. All seminars will be held at LTC Sheboygan, 3620 Wilgus Ave, Sheboygan.

“Excel 2013 Basics” is designed for people who are new to Excel. This course will explore the basics of spreadsheets, entering data, and becoming comfortable with the user interface. This seminar will be held April 5 from 9:00am – Noon. The course number is 25655 and the fee is $75.

“Using Basic Formulas and Functions in Excel 2013” introduces the concepts and terminology associated with formulas, and demonstrates how to create and edit, copy and paste, and how to check for errors in formulas. The seminar will be held April 19 from 9:00am – Noon. The course number is 25656 and the fee is $75.

“Creating Charts and Pivot Tables in Excel 2013” will teach participants how to create a picture of data using Microsoft Excel 2013's Chart Tools and to analyze a large amount of data by using Pivot Tables to look at the data in different scenarios. Combine these powerful tools and create Pivot Charts. This course is designed for the above-average user of Microsoft Excel 2013. This seminar will be held May 3 from 9:00am – Noon. The course number is 25657 and the fee is $75.

“Word 2016 Essentials” will show participants how to use the basic features of Word 2016. With Word 2016, participants can launch and create documents easier than ever. This seminar will be held April 10 from 5:30 - 8:30pm. The course number is 26155 and the fee is $75.

“Outlook 2016 Essentials” will show participants how to use the basic features of Outlook 2016. Participants will increase their productivity, as they will be able to manage their information more efficiently. This seminar will be held May 8 from 5:30 - 8:30pm. The course number is 26156 and the fee is $75.
