LTC to Offer New Robotics Maintenance Seminars

Lakeshore Technical College is offering a new series of robotics maintenance seminars beginning in January. All seminars will be held in the KOHLER Center for Manufacturing Excellence on the Cleveland campus.
The first seminar, Robotics – Mechanical Maintenance, will be held over the course of three days on Monday, January 8; Tuesday, January 9; and Wednesday, January 10 from 7:30am-4:00pm. This course is designed for industrial maintenance professionals who repair and maintain Fanuc robots. The course will discuss robot safety, robot equipment and theory of operation, periodic maintenance and backlash inspections, robot disassembly and reassembly, axis drive replacement, and re-mastering the robot when work is completed. The cost of this seminar is $675 and the class number is 23359.
The second seminar being offered is Robotics – Electrical Maintenance. This seminar will be held over the course of three days on Monday, March 12; Tuesday, March 13; and Wednesday, March 14 from 7:30am-4:00pm. This course is designed for industrial maintenance professionals who troubleshoot and repair Fanuc robots. This course will discuss the robot's electrical control components and how to troubleshoot faults and problems with the system. The cost of this seminar is $675 and the class number is 23362.
