LTC to Offer Real Estate Continuing Education Seminars

CLEVELAND, WI —
Lakeshore Technical College is offering real estate continuing education seminars beginning in February. All real estate salespersons and brokers are required to successfully complete an 18-hour continuing education requirement for 2017/18. This requirement must be met for license renewal by December 14, 2018. The 18 hours of continuing education, which are standardized by law, are divided into six modules (three hours each). Each module concludes with a required exam that must be successfully completed or the module will have to be repeated.
Course 1, Wisconsin Listing Contracts, will be held February 20 from 5:30 - 8:30pm. This seminar focuses on the new WB-1 Residential Listing Contract Exclusive Right to Sell. The class number is 25630.
Course 2, Wisconsin Offers To Purchase, will be held February 27 from 5:30 - 8:30pm. This seminar reviews use of the WB-11 Residential Offer to Purchase. The class number is 25631.
Course 3, Wisconsin New Developments, will be held March 6 from 5:30 - 8:30pm. This seminar updates licensees with the most recent changes and developments in real estate law, practices and procedures. The class number is 25632.
Course 4, Ethics and Best Practices, will be held March 13 from 5:30 - 8:30pm. This seminar outlines Wisconsin licensee obligations with respect to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics and Fair Housing Law. The class number is 25633.
Elective C, Financing, will be held March 20 from 5:30 - 8:30pm. This seminar focuses on the variety of ways in which a buyer finances a transaction as well as the associated federal and state laws that regulate financing programs. The class number is 25634.
Elective D, Wisconsin-Approved Forms, will be held March 27 from 5:30 - 8:30pm. This seminar examines the use of the approved one-page forms such as notices, amendments, counter-offers, counter-proposals, and cancellation agreements and mutual releases. The class number is 25635.
Each seminar will be held in the Cleveland Training Room on LTC’s Cleveland campus. The cost of each seminar is $35.
