Nearly 500 Vollrath Employees to Benefit from Lakeshore Technical College Training

CLEVELAND, WI —
The Vollrath Company is partnering with Lakeshore Technical College’s Workforce Solutions division to provide 479 employees with 700 hours of training supported through a Workforce Advancement Training grant.
The $86,000 of training will focus on manufacturing, leadership, quality and safety. It will help employees become more skilled at meeting industry challenges and better prepared for leadership roles. Training will take place at Vollrath’s Sheboygan and Kiel manufacturing locations.
Activities will include enhancing skillsets, equipping managers with meeting facilitation tools, educating employees on problem-solving techniques, and creating a positive company culture. Lean Six Sigma training, blueprint reading, and hand tool and forklift training will be included.
Training will begin in August and go through May 2025.
