AR-15 Advanced Armorer Course

Course Descriptions

This two-day AR-15 Armorer seminar offers comprehensive training and instruction on cleaning and preventative maintenance, disassembly, precision measuring and inspection, annual maintenance, repair, and reassembly of the AR-15 firearm based on the US military and original manufacturer specifications, manuals, and guidelines.

After attending you will gain the necessary skills to perform:

• Precision measuring and visual inspection of components for wear, which allows the user to evaluate dimensional tolerance as an overall annual “wellness check” of the rifle
• Diagnose and mitigate more complex malfunctions of the AR-15 platform rifle
• Identify and resolve potential failures before they occur.

While this is not intended as an assembler/ builder class, this course will cover many of these topics. 

Participants will be able to perform these skills on their own rifle and the instructor will inform participants when to bring these into the lab. Rifles will be available for those students needing one.
