Underground Storage Tanks (USTs) installers will learn about regulations, consensus codes, recommended practices, plan preparations, and submittal procedures as they pertain to USTs. Site excavation practices, tank handling, testing, leak-detection systems, corrosion protection, and overfill protection are also covered. Note: Bring a check for $35 payable to WDATCP to cover the application and exam fee not included in your registration fee.

Course Description
This 12-hour seminar, over two consecutive days, reviews the current requirements for proper and safe installation of Underground Storage Tanks (UST). Emphasis is given to the Department: Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection regulations, referenced consensus codes, standards and recommended practices, and proper plan preparations and submittal procedures for UST. Related topics include: safety excavation practices, tank handling, anchoring, testing, piping, backfilling, leak-detection systems, corrosion protection, spill, and overfill protection.
