The mission of global education at Lakeshore Technical College is to enrich student education with multicultural awareness and competence by providing opportunities for the development of global citizenship skills.
Global Citizenship Education prepares students for the challenges of the twenty-first century. In a globalized world, education is putting more emphasis on equipping individuals with the knowledge, attitudes and behaviors they need to be informed, engaged and empathetic citizens.

Cultural Conversations
Cultural Conversation events are held periodically on campus. Guest speakers, from varying ethnic backgrounds, share their experiences and impressions about life in other cultures.
