- What is the student employee work schedule?
- The work schedule will vary per position and is generally listed within the job posting. For some student help/federal work-study positions the student employee may be eligible to work up to 32 hours per week during the summer months and breaks. The college strongly recommends student employees work a maximum of 15 to 20 hours per week during the school year to ensure their success in the classroom comes first.
- What happens if a student does not maintain average grades while employed as a student worker?
- Student success always comes first, and it is expected that the student maintains average grades while employed. Failure to do so may result in their student help position being discontinued.
- How many credits are needed to work as a student employee?
- Students must be active and enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per semester and/or enrolled in an academic program.
