Meeting the Demand for More Lakeshore Graduates

To meet the growing demand in our community for healthcare providers, Lakeshore College needs to graduate more students from our health and medical services programs. To accomplish this, we invested $6 million to remodel and expand our training facility by 16,000 square feet. This effort resulted in opening our new state-of-the-art Center for Health Care Excellence in August 2024. Highlights include:

  • High-tech training experiences using life-like patient simulators.
  • Dedicated space for each program.
  • Students can begin realistic emergency medical services training exercises in our advanced training complex before moving in real-time to the Center for Health Care Excellence.

The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Center for Health Care Excellence training facility is dedicated to strengthening the workforce that builds healthier and safer communities. With expanded capacity and an interdisciplinary model of instruction, we welcome students pursuing the following programs:
